DESCRIPTION

This is a collaborative project involving my flatmate Arthur Cabourg and I during our sparetime.

We're doing this project to free our minds from the various design ideas we might have.

 

The project evolves according to our moods, the ideas we have in our minds and our desire to improve or explore, making it a project in constant evolution with an open end.

The project is still in the prototype phase and is progressing according to our availability and desires.

GAMEPLAY

Immerse yourself in the adrenalin of epic head-to-head confrontations in spectacular and varied arenas, where every decision counts. In this dynamic third-person shooter, combat becomes intense as you battle for points, racking up kills and collecting strategic objectives for ultimate victory.

The next focus for gameplay will be to develop and ensure that the various systems work individually and with each other :
- scoring system
- respawn system
- win/loss system
- objective system (e.g. capturing a position or destroying a target) 

LEVEL DESIGN

The level design is still in the research and experimentation phase. For the moment, my focus is on :


- defining level design principles
- finding references for games and arena-type levels  
- thinking about
inspiring themes for the ambience and architecture of the arenas
- thinking about
Level Design Objects and ways of bringing levels to life (e.g. levelution)
- start making
blockouts in the engine and find gameplay situations that work well.
