DESCRIPTION
Deep Dive is a collaborative interdisciplinary project between three game designers and six artists of ISART DIGITAL Montréal.
This mobile game was developed on Unity 3D in a total duration of one month.
GAMEPLAY
The goal of the game is to sink into the abyss as far as possible using your customizable submarine.
To do this, the player must destroy enemy obstacles by pressing them and avoid mine obstacles.
Pressing a mine or coming into contact with an enemy will cause you to lose the game.


PROJECT EVOLUTION
Among all the hypercasual projects of our promotion it is our group that has without any doubt known the best progression between the different milestones.
After having developed a good concept and design for the game we finally had to revise the whole scope. Milestone 3C was not meeting expectations and the project was in danger.
After reviewing the entire scope we decided to sacrifice the uniqueness and originality of the concept and turn to a functional game that would respect the educational objectives.
This decision allowed us to erase the bad start of the project and obtain a result that pleased the whole Deep Dive team.
LEVEL DESIGN
DESCRIPTION
The level design of the game is built with procedurally generated modules. The different modules are assemblies of graphic assets of the artists with the different enemies or obstacles designed by the game designers.
